Non-performing DAP politicians in Selangor scrambling for new seats (Part 1)
The clock is ticking for some of the DAP politicians in Selangor and it is ticking very loud and very ominously for certain non-performing DAP politicians in Selangor.
The first on the list is Teratai ADUN – Jenice Lee Ying Ha – she has totally failed to perform and serve the people in her constituency for the past 5 years. In our “Ranking Of Existing DAP ADUNs in Selangor” conducted in October 2012, she was actually ranked last out of 12 DAP ADUNs in Selangor.
This means that she is the worst performing DAP ADUN amongst all the DAP ADUNs in Selangor.
Jenice is simply too busy to focus on her duties as a n elected ADUN – many people are unhappy with her for being too money-minded because she is constantly holding all sorts of events to collect funds. She seeks donations for many causes and reasons. All these led to several accusations that she has pocketed some of the funds that she has collected for Chinese schools. She is also thought to be romantically-linked to a married businessman – which becomes an emotional see-saw for her; thus distracting her from her constituency work.
The latest failure came during her Chinese New Year Open House which saw poor attendance. There was no discernible crowd and just a token faces from PAS and PKR politicians. Even her attempted distribution of mandarin oranges at the local mosque was met with derision and contempt as many Muslims felt that it was an insult and an attempt to ridicule them.
Therefore, she is now lobbying to take over the seat for the Sekinchan which is currently being held by Ng Suee Lin. This is because she knows that Ng Suee Lin is not well liked by Lim Guan Eng and he also has a dubious past incident involving an alleged drunk-driving incident which caused a life. If you go to Sekinchan, you will see a number of her posters there as well – which shows her preparation to take over from Ng Suee Lin. This is her Plan A.
Plan B involves another lady politician but this time it is YB Teo Nie Ching who is the MP for Serdang. Teo Nie Ching has also not performed up to expectations in her Parliamentary constituency and possibly because she was pregnant recently and took time off last year to deliver her baby. Like Jenice, Teo Nie Ching also had allegations of corruption levelled against her and also she had angered a number of Muslims in her constituency because of her stepping out of bounds and attempted to campaign politically in a mosque so much so that she had to apologise to the Sultan of Selangor for her actions.
As such, Jenice Lee is negotiating to swap her ADUN seat with Teo Nie Ching’s Parliamentary seat but she needs more clout to be able to get the deal done.
Nonetheless, the discussions are continuing and soon it will be unveiled.
