More non-performing DAP politicians in Selangor scrambling for new seats (Part 3)
Desperate Gobind Singh Deo and Charles Santiago
Meanwhile, the pressure is also on for Gobind Singh Deo, the MP for Puchong who is also known to be non-performing. Gobind won the seat on the back of his father’s greta name and reputation in 2008 but after 5 years of absentee representation in Puchong, the voters in Puchong have lost their patience and goodwill even for Karpal and they want to vote our Gobind. Gobind hardly visits the constituency because he has no time given his rather busy law practice. Also whatever free time he has, he rather unwind and “lepak’ with his other lawyer friends in the pubs and drink late into the night.
Gobind is also known have a bad temper and has gotten involved in pub brawls but usually the issue resolved with the help of his lawyer friends and friendly police officers on his payroll as a high-flying criminal lawyer.
He is also known as a wife beater and physically assaults his wife when he gets drunk and stayed out late and in their marital quarrels. A divorce petition may be forthcoming but that is another story for another day.
The latest Puchong flash floods revealed his incompetence when he was nowhere to be seen when his constituents suffered.
So he is now discussing with Klang MP Charles Santiago to swap seats.
Charles Santiago is another non-performing MP who has his head too high in the air to even engage with his poor constituents. All he wants to talk about is his NGO advocacy and for all his purported intelligence he has been unable to explain the water shortage issue properly to the Selangor voters and so the public outrage is directed towards him.
Hence, Charles is also running for cover and the swap with Gobind might just do the trick.
But will the voters of these 2 constituencies be duped again by these non-performing failed politicians? We really doubt it this time and they will be likely to be voted out and remain just a footnote in the history of DAP politics.
